# How do I pay an owing balance?

## ${color}[#000000](Pay off an owing balance right from your oxio Client Portal.)

1. Log in to your [__Client Portal__](https://account.oxio.ca/en/login).
2. Select the **Billing** tab.
3. Select **Make Payment** > Select either **Full payment** or **Partial payment** > Tap **Confirm**.

## ${color}[#000000](What if I want to use a different payment method?)

Simply scroll further down in the Billing tab and under **Payment Methods,** select **Add Payment Method.**

Note that payments made via e-cheque or bank transfer can take a minimum of **6 business days** to process and reflect on your account.

| 💳 Credit card payments are processed instantly and are the quickest way to resolve your balance.
