FAQ on the end of oxio TV

When will oxio TV stop working?

As of January 15th, 2026, our oxio TV service will be discontinued. We wanted to provide you with plenty of advance notice so you can prepare for this transition.

Do I have to take any action?

The good news is that most of the process will be handled automatically. Your billing will be adjusted, and any applicable credits will be applied to your account without any action required on your part. The only thing we ask is that you properly recycle the oxio TV equipment when the service ends.

How can I recycle the oxio TV equipment?

We're committed to environmental responsibility. Please visit https://recyclemyelectronics.ca/qc/where-can-i-recycle to find the nearest electronics recycling drop-off location in your area. This interactive map will help you properly dispose of your oxio TV equipment.

I want to cancel with oxio, what now?

We're sorry to hear you're looking to leave us. To manage your cancellation, you can head to your Client Portal, in the My Bundles tab to easily manage your account and process your cancellation request. If you need any assistance, our Customer Care team is always here to help.

What about my home phone plan?

Don't worry! This change only affects the TV service. Your oxio home phone plan will continue to operate exactly as before with no interruptions or changes to your service.

Will this affect my pricing?

Your monthly bill will be lowered by the cost of the TV plan you had. Since we don’t do bundling, there won’t be any additional changes or charges to your monthly invoice. You'll simply pay for the services you continue to use.

Will I keep my recordings?

Unfortunately, all TV recordings and saved content will no longer be accessible after the service ends on January 15th, 2026.
