How do I move my oxio internet to a new address?

Schedule a move right from your Client Portal.


🏡 Moving? Don’t forget your oxio internet!


Remember, it’s not enough to just unplug your oxio gear and set it up at the new place. Your actual service needs to be transferred and activated at the new address too.


Here’s what you need to do:


⚠️ Schedule your move request a minimum of 2 weeks in advance. This is essential to process your activation or tech appointment on time.


  1. Log in to your Client Portal.
  2. Select My Profile and under the Address Information tab, tap Move My Services.
  3. Enter in the required information including your new address, move-in + move-out date, and availability for a technician activation appointment (if necessary).
  4. Tap Confirm


…and voila! We’ll send you an email once the activation date for your new place is confirmed.



What to know when moving.


  • A move request can be scheduled up to 90 days in advance.


  • If there’s more than a 48-hour gap between leaving your old place and moving into the new one, your billing automatically goes on hold.


  • Your new address must be serviceable by oxio. If you’re moving to a new province, you may be prompted to contact Customer Care. You’ll need different equipment pre-configured for the local network in your new area.


Your moving checklist:


Bring all your oxio equipment with you when moving! This will include the modem, router(s), power cables for each, ethernet cable, and coaxial cable.


Schedule your move in the Client Portal following the steps above, so your oxio internet will be activated at the new place.
