Does oxio Block IPTVs?

oxio does not, in any way, block the use of IPTV services.

However, we cannot guarantee the performance of third-party IPTV providers on our network.

What is IPTV?

It’s a way of delivering television content over your internet connection instead of through traditional methods like a cable wire, a satellite dish, or a rooftop antenna.

If you’ve ever used a streaming service like Netflix or watched a live stream on YouTube, you’ve used a form of IPTV technology. However, when people talk about "IPTV" in a home service context, they usually mean a service that mimics traditional cable. AKA, a channel guide, live local news, and sports, but delivered via your Wi-Fi.

Does oxio sell TV or IPTV services?

We don’t offer any TV or IPTV services at this time.

That said, you can use any third-party IPTV service or streaming device (like a Firestick or Apple TV) over our network to binge all your favourite content.

What if I have a “grey market” IPTV box and it’s not working?

While nothing is blocked on our end, oxio doesn’t provide technical support for any issues with unlicensed IPTV boxes.

These devices pose malware and security threats to your credit card and private information. Watching unauthorized streams using one of these boxes is a form of copyright infringement.

If your device isn’t connecting to your network, you’ll need to contact your IPTV provider and their technical support team to help you troubleshoot its connection.
