What payment methods does oxio accept?

You can pay your monthly oxio bill in one of three ways:

  • 💳 Credit card.
  • 🏦 Bank transfer.
  • 🔄 Pre-authorized debit (PAD).

👋 Heads up: We bill in advance for the upcoming month, not the month prior. Payment is due within 21 days to avoid service cancellation or fees. (See Terms & Conditions).

Paying via credit card.

We accept VISA, Mastercard, and Amex.

Payments are instant, and are the quickest way to settle your bill. It also allows our team to help you much faster if you ever run into a billing issue.

Good to know:

  • Visa/Mastercard Debit: Most Canadian cards work, but we can’t guarantee compatibility with every bank.

  • Prepaid cards: We’re unable to accept prepaid credit cards from banks or stores.

Paying via bank transfer.

You can pay directly through your online bank by adding “oxio” as a payee. You’ll need the account number listed on the left-hand side of your invoice.

Bank asking for 8 digits? Just add zeroes to the front of your number until it fits.

(Example: 12345 becomes 00012345)

Keep in mind: The minimum payment is $5.00, and transfers can take up to 7 business days to reach us. We’ll email you as soon as it lands on our end!

Paying via pre-authorized debit - PAD.

You can set this up in your Client Portal under the Billing tab (look for the Payment Methods section).

A heads-up on timing: Withdrawals aren’t instant! It can take up to 14 business days for the funds to actually leave your account after your receive the notification.

Avoid bank fees: Ensure the funds remain available during that 14-day window. Once a payment is in progress, we cannot stop it. If the transaction bounces, your bank may charge you a Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) fee. Unfortunately, we can’t control or reimburse these bank charges, so we want to help you avoid them!

What payment methods can I use during checkout?

For account security, your first payment requires a valid credit card or Visa/Mastercard Debit. You can change this to your preferred method immediately after checkout in the Client Portal.

Your first payment covers your first month of service. Your billing cycle only begins once your equipment arrives and your service is activated.
