How do I test my internet speed?
Here are a few different options to accurately test your internet speed.
Option ❶: Wi-Fi app speed test.
If you’re using the oxio Wi-Fi pod or eero 6 router, simply open the corresponding app (oxio Wi-Fi or eero) and run the built-in speed test.
This measures the connection speed before it travels wirelessly, giving you a clear reading of the speed coming from your modem.
Option ❷: Direct-to-modem speed test.
Disconnect the ethernet cable from your router, and use it to connect a laptop, computer, or tablet directly to your modem (black box). On that connected device, run a speed test using speedtest.net.
This result will show the raw speed your modem is receiving from the line to your home.
