Does oxio handle my old provider’s cancellation?

No. You’re responsible for contacting your previous provider to cancel your services.


Because your account contains sensitive personal information, most providers require the account holder to authorize the cancellation directly.


When should I cancel my old provider?


In most cases, unless instructured by us otherwise, it’s best to wait to cancel your current provider until after your oxio internet is active and running.


We want to avoid any “blackout” time during the switch as much as possible!


Does oxio use the same line as my old provider?


oxio equipment is connected to your home’s coaxial cable outlet. If your old provider uses this same connection, they’ll need to be disconnected before oxio can be activated on that same line. If they use a different line (like DSL or Fibre), it should have no impact to your oxio connection.



Will my old provider’s equipment work with oxio service?


No. oxio service requires our specifically provisioned modems to work. Ensure you return your old provider’s equipment to them directly to avoid any unreturned hardware fees!
