  • How to have my remote control my TV.
    You can fairly easily program your oxio remote so that it can interact directly with any somewhat recent TV set. The buttons used to interact with your TV are the blue ones at the top of the remote (2 and 12) as well as the power button (1).   • Are oxio TV receivers wireless?
    TV receivers can be used both with a network cable or a Wi-Fi network Wireless TV means that you can watch TV using your internet! No need for TV cables anymore. The receiver does need to be connected to your TV with an HDMI cable and to a power outlet.     It’s quite simple! Do note that, for most phones, the presence of voicemail messages is not indicated with a flashing light or intermitent tonality when the phone is picked up.     It is not possible to install additional apps on the TV receiver Our device has a limited TV Android version that does not allow this option. The only app available on our receiver is Stingray (free version managed by Stingray)Few readers

    Your phone number will not be given to directories Since oxio home phone uses VoIP, it will not be disclosed nor given away to sites like Canada411 or the Yellow Pages.   • How do I delete a Wi-Fi network from my TV receiver?
    It’s quite simple! From the menu screen (the oxio playing cards) use the Up Arrow button on your remote to access the “Settings” tab and press OK. Press OK when “Network and Internet” is selected. Using the Down Arrow button, navigate until you find the network you wish to delete and press OK.     Yes, we do! Both these functionalities are offered at no additional cost to you! A caller’s ID will be displayed after the second ring of a call. To pick up a call that is on hold, press the “flash” button on your phone once you’ve heard the first ring.   • My TV receiver’s sound is maxed out, but it’s still not loud enough. What to do?
    All you need to do is turn up the volume directly on your TV if you wish to use the volume control buttons at the center of your oxio remote. You prefer using your TV’s volume control? Simply turn up the receiver’s volume to the maximum and use the blue volume control buttons at the top of your oxio remote! Note that you must program these to function correctly.   • Why can’t I select the sports channels for my package?

  • How many voice messages can the oxio voicemail contain?
    Voicemail comes with oxio phone service - at no extra cost, of course! You can store up to 160 minutes of messages, which corresponds approximatively to 10Mb of storage. It is not possible to increase this capacity. After one year, the messages are automatically deleted to make room for the next ones.Few readers

    It is not possible to receive collect calls with oxio VoIP telephony Setting up a system to receive and bill collect calls is expensive to implement, maintain and requires regulatory agreements. We want to keep our rates competitive, however adding this feature would make it more expensive.   • Wi-fi Television Service Limitations
    The "wireless TV" function means that the channel signal does not require a cable connected to the receiver in order to be routed. The receiver must still be connected to an electrical outlet and to your TV via an HDMI cable. The wireless TV function uses the Wi-Fi network provided by our router.
